Rapid Response

Dislocated Worker Program

Company Layoff?  Furloughed? Questions about your unemployment benefits or Oregon Employment Department policies? Wondering what your healthcare options are after losing employer-sponsored coverage? Your Dislocated Worker Labor Liaison can help.

Union members facing layoffs will have serious concerns and questions about their future, especially when it comes to financial security through unemployment benefits and their healthcare options.

Call your local Dislocated Worker Labor Liaison as soon as you learn of a union workforce reduction. Rapid Response will provide a presentation to the impacted workforce with a team of layoff transition professionals to bring your members timely, helpful information and resources for unemployment insurance filing, health insurance coverage next steps, community resources, and much more. These services are provided at no cost to the union, the member, or the employer.
